Homebound

This project is a collaboration with actor, writer and theatre maker Berenice Cruse.

This physical theatre work is in development, and we performed a first draft of the piece at the Bodmin Scratch Night in November 2021, event curated by intoBodmin and Hall for Cornwall.

We are currently working on developing the concept of the work and story line, and we are hoping to soon get into a rehearsal space to keep making it!

Although in development and therefore inevitably going to evolve, this is the initial idea for the piece:

What would happen if the entire world would stop feeling all at once? What is a person's drive if they don’t feel? We follow Bea as she battles the new world she has been thrown into, bearing the knowledge of how the world used to be and being confronted by her own humanity.
