The King in Yellow

It’s been called the play that can’t be staged.

For the first time in history, Moth Sanctuary Productions is staging a performance of the banned play ‘The King in Yellow’ exclusively at Cheltenham Literature Festival.

In this debut performance, Moth Sanctuary Productions blend movement, song and speech as they tell the outlawed tale of The King in Yellow. Robert W. Chambers’ collection of short stories were rumoured to send its readers insane. Will you hold your nerve as the stories come to life before your eyes?
